Flashback: October 7, 2010 Fall Frightfest

Standard

October 7: The Hills Have Eyes. Rating: 2/5. Comment: Although this movie had several surprisingly gruesome moments (including a nauseating scene involving a flagpole to the throat), it was, overall, predictable and unoriginal. (I gave it two stars due to the realistic gore — thank YOU, flagstaff.) My biggest problem with this movie was that the “hero” — a whiny, pathetic wuss through most of the flick — never once thanked anyone for their help in saving his family and killing the antagonists, thus allowing him to continue being a whiny, pathetic wuss. Skip it.

Peace and love.
